    Summary: This agreement constitutes the very first stage in the strengthening of air relations between the Community and the neighboring countries of the European Union in the context of the Commission communication 'Developing the agenda for the Community's external aviation policy'.

    Summary: The Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) with the Philippines is the first-ever bilateral agreement with the Philippines. The PCA with the Philippines marks an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations and the EU’s role in South-East Asia, based on shared universal values such as democracy and human rights.

  18. Air transport agreement between the US, the EU, Iceland and Norway and the additional agreement between Norway, Iceland and the EU on the application of the agreement regarding air transport

    Summary: Norway and Iceland formally requested the accession to the EU-US Air Transport Agreement in 2007. These Agreements will ensure a consistent regulatory framework for flights between the US and the single aviation market in the EU – including Iceland and Norway.
