Project: supporting female agricultural households in the Sinjar region, Iraq. Beneficiary: Nadia's Initiative Amount: 200,000 euros Islamic State committed genocide against the Yazidi community in the Sinjar region of northwestern Iraq in 2014. IS has deliberately destroyed farmland in the Sinjar region in the attacks, as well as the livelihood and food security of Yazidis.

Project: Queer Women in Egypt (Q-WEP) Beneficiary: Bedaya Organization ( Amount: 33,244 euro Duration: 1 year Bedayaa Organization fights for the rights of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression by building networks where members of the LGBTQI+ community can exchange knowledge and experiences and where they can rely on legal support and health care. This project aims to build a network for LBQ women in Egypt in 2021, where they can exchange knowledge and experiences and participate in cultural activities and workshops.

Project: Human dignity and inclusion, Mozaika, Latvia Beneficiary: Mozaika Amount: 41,450 euros Duration: 1 year Mozaika is the largest LGBTQI+ organization in Latvia and is co-organizer of the Baltic Pride, the establishment of which was supported by Flanders in 2005. This project, which will take place in 2021, aims to build up (legal) expertise to tackle discrimination. In addition, it will strengthen ties between civil society, businesses and legal experts.

Beneficiary: Rode Kruis Vlaanderen Amount: 200.000 euros Duration: 12 months (august 2020 - 2021) On 4 August 2020, an explosion occurred in the port area of Beirut, Lebanon. This sent a shock wave through the city, causing more than 200 deaths and 6,000 injured. 300,000 people from Beirut became homeless as a result of the explosion. The Red Cross Lebanon (RCL) launched an emergency appeal for USD 19 million.
