Grant for United Nations Relief and Works Agency 2016 -2018
Project: provide humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees and to develop development-oriented activities for them. Beneficiary: UNRWA Duration: 2016-2018 Budget: 150.000 euro On 23 October 2015, the Government of Flanders decided to continue the aid to UNRWA till 2018 with a annually amount of 150,000 euros. Through this support, the Government provides assistance to the affected population in the Palestinian territories and contributes to the post 2015 targets on poverty, food security, health and education.

Grant to Palestinian Circus School, 2018
Project: Education program for Palestinian young people This program specifically targets 6-year-olds in Ramallah, Birzeit, East Jerusalem, and the Al Fara refugee camp. Teacher Capacity Building Palestinian Circus School Organising annually different workshops on capacity building in Palestine.

Grant to the Al Kamandjâti music school, Ramallah, 2018
Project: operations of the Al Kamandjâti music school, Ramallah Beneficiary: Al Kamandjâti music school Budget: 30.000 euro Duration: 2018 Al Kamandjâti (AK) has established music schools in numerous locations in Palestine and Lebanon that service approximately 500 children, providing music instruction in strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, guitar, oriental and occidental percussion, oud, nay, voice, music appreciation, ensemble playing and music theory. Instruments are provided for the children at no cost, allowing those without means to pursue their musical dreams.

Grant to Connexion vzw for a continued cooperation with A.M. Qattan Foundation, 2018
Project: Continuation of the cooperation with A.M. Qattan Foundation after the end of the festival Under Construction: Flemish Palestinian Connection Beneficiary: Connexion vzw Budget: 35.000 euro Period: 2018 Connexion and A.M. Qattan Foundation had the ambition to bridge the distance between Flanders and Palestine by bringing together artists and stimulating exchange and cooperation through the Flanders Under Construction Festival. An initial evaluation of the Under Construction Festival shows that the project successfully applies to collaboration and co-production.
