Malaria (6.2 million cases in 2016) and HIV / AIDS (13.2% prevalence in 2015) make up more than half of the mortality in Mozambique. Recurrent epidemics of climate-sensitive diseases (such as cholera, measles, dengue fever, chikungunya, West Nile and yellow fever) put pressure on the already over-health system.
