On November 21 and 22, Minister-President Jan Jambon paid a working visit to Schotland.
The Minister-President expressed his support for the start of an economic mission organized by the Ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge.
On the second day, Minister-President Jambon met Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon in Edinburgh. They discussed strenghtening economic relations between Scotland and Flanders, increasing trade with Flemish ports, and post-Brexit relations.
During his visit, Minister-President Jambon also met Jenny Gilruth, Scottish Minister for Culture, Europe and International Development, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh, leading figures of the Scottish performing arts sector and representatives of the Life Sciences Innovation Centre at BioQuarter Edinburgh.
