On 19 February Minister-president Jan Jambon received the Dutch minister of the interior, Raymond Knops. During a breakfast meeting they exchanged thoughts on the digitalisation, e-government and the bottlenecks in the roll-out of the 5G network.
On 12 February, Minister-president Jambon started his two-day mission to Hungary and the Czech Republic. In Budapest, he met the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Peter Szijjarto, before being received by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
On 17 February, the EU organised a major donors' conference for the reconstruction of the earthquake-affected regions of Albania. At the end of 2019, the Government of Flanders already released 175,000 euros for this humanitarian disaster.
Minister-president Jan Jambon met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Tomas Petricek, in Prague on 14 February, during the second leg of his mission to Hungary and the Czech Republic.
On 7 February, the Government of Flanders approved the contribution of 900,000 euros to the Flemish Trust Fund of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Through the Trust Fund Flanders finances projects of the ILO.
