The overall objective of this project is to improve effectiveness of the design and implementation of national innovation, productive transformation and job-creation strategies. This will be achieved by promoting knowledge and providing evidence on the role of a society’s innovation capabilities in strategies to transform economies for more and better jobs. Secondly, it will be achieved by disseminating knowledge among stakeholders on how societal learning becomes a central driver of economic development and job creation, and the role of governments, workers and enterprises.
