On 4 October the 15th Joint Permanent Commission Flanders and Québec toke place. The main topic was the new cooperation program 2018-2020.
In the last few years, cooperation between Quebec and Flanders has been reinforced with clear emphasis on maritime policy, marine science and culture. The existing cooperation will therefore be renewed and further specified until December 2019.
Quebec was one of the first bilateral partners which signed a cooperation agreement with Flanders. Since then the relationship has increasingly strengthened and diversified into different domains.
