On the 20 September, Flanders Investment & Trade awarded the Export Lion for the 16th time. This year’s winners are Klingele Chocolade and Skyline Communications.
Klingele Chocolate won the Export Lion in the category 'Companies less than 49 employees'. Supplier of multi-vendor network management solutions Skyline Communications won it from Bekina® Boots and Soudal in the category 'Companies with 50 or more employees'. Minister-president Bourgeois presented the awards of the winners.
Claire Tillekaerts, CEO of FIT: “Both winners chose for a strong Flemish base with a solid engagement in the local economy, next to an impressive international trackrecord. Many companies in Flanders work every day on their international strategy. They deserve our support.” With this prize, FIT wants to emphasize the importance of the export for the Flemish economy.
