Innovation in health care: visit to Philips Eindhoven

On 29 August an extended delegation led by Minister Jo Vandeurzen visited the Philips Innovation Center in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The minister was introduced to new technologies and applications in healthcare. Philips is a leading company and innovator in health technology.

Secretary-General Moykens (Department of Welfare, Health and Family), Secretary-General Hanssens (Department of Economy, Science and Innovation), Dr. Boonen (Coordinator Flanders' Care), Administrator General Dewolf (Agency Care and Health), Dr. Van Heuverswyn (Department of Economy, Science and Innovation) and General Representative Buyse accompanied Minister Vandeurzen during this successful visit. The innovative applications and interesting expositions on issues and opportunities in Flemish health care, provided the delegation members new insights and inspiration.
